In what cases can VX-β be used?
The following are the conditions for using VX-β. 1. You must have a VOCALOID6 Editor that has been activated. 2. You must have one or more VOCALOID6-dedicated AI voice banks that have been activated. If you have not yet authorized the VOCALOID6 Editor or voice bank, please use the VOCALOID Authorizer to activate them. *Even if you have already activated VOCALOID6 Editor Lite or an Editor for VOCALOID5 or earlier, you will not be able to use VX-β. *There is no indication within VOCALOID Authorizer that VX-β has been authorized.

What voice banks are available for the VX-β?
You can use VOCALOID6 AI voice bank. You cannot use voice banks from VOCALOID5 or earlier.

Is VX-β a plug-in for Cubase only?
Although it is not dedicated to Cubase, VX-β can be used by loading the notes and lyrics onto the Cubase key editor, so we recommend using it with Cubase. For DAW other than Cubase, you cannot directly input notes or lyrics into the DAW, but you can use them by loading a specified sequence file.

Can I input notes and lyrics in a DAW other than Cubase?
With DAWs other than Cubase, it is not possible to input notes and lyrics from the Piano Roll screen. For this reason, it is necessary to load a sequence file created in advance using a program such as VOCALOID6 Editor. If you are using Cubase, you can load and use notes and lyrics on the Piano Roll, so we recommend using it with Cubase.
