VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase
The VOCALOID4 Inst window displays the message "Failed to initialize VOCALOID module (Error code: 83100302) ..." and VOCALOID Editor cannot be started. I also cannot find the "Open VOCALOID4 Editor" menu command in the "MIDI" menu of Cubase.
Does the installation path for your VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase contain a semicolon (;)? If the installation path contains a semicolon (;), the software may not start correctly. If this happens, uninstall the software and then reinstall it to a path that does not contain a semicolon (;).

I have already activated VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase and all of the installed VOCALOID products. However, when I try to start VOCALOID4 Editor, I get a message saying "VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase has expired. Please activate VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase.", and the software cannot be started.
Do you have any VOCALOID product for which installation failed? If so, uninstall the VOCALOID product that has not been installed correctly.

I think I installed VOCALOID2 Voice Banks, but they are not visible.
Did you complete the Library Import? You can use VOCALOID2 Voice Banks for which Library Import has been completed in VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase. (* In the Mac version, VOCALOID2 Voice Banks cannot be used.) (Support for Library Import has ended in March 2016. Thank you for using this service.)

There is no sound even when the "VOCALOID4 Inst" is inserted.
Have you completed activation (authorization)? (1) Is there a message in red in the "VOCALOID4 Inst" window? Perform activation as described in the "Read Me First (Installation Manual)" included in the package. (2) Check the information in the Voice Bank. (In VOCALOID4 Editor, under the "Help" menu, select "Check for Activation Status".) If the message under the "Activation Status" column is "Expired (Require Activation)", perform activation as described in the "Read Me First (Installation Manual)" included in the Voice Bank package. (3) Is the sample rate set to something other than "44.100kHz", "48.000kHz", or "96.000kHz"? VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase supports sample rates of "44.100kHz", "48.000kHz", and "96.000kHz". Set the sample rate to "44.100 kHz", "48.000 kHz", or "96.000 kHz" by selecting "Project", "Project Setup", and then "Sample Rate" in Cubase.

VOCALOID4 Editor cannot be opened. Even when I open the "MIDI" menu, the "Open VOCALOID4 Editor" command is not visible.
(1) Is a Voice Bank installed? VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase does not include a Voice Bank. * Voice banks are sold separately. Product Info If a Voice Bank is installed but not activated, it will stop functioning once the trial period ends. We recommend activating the Voice Bank immediately after you install it. (* Activation requires an Internet connection.) * If installed Voice Banks are VOCALOID2 products, you must complete the Library Import in advance in VOCALOID3 Editor or VOCALOID Editor for Cubase. (* Windows version only. In the Mac version, VOCALOID2 products cannot be used.) (2) Does the machine in which you installed VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase have a Cubase series product whose version is 7 or later? VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase supports Cubase7 or later (Elements7, AI7, and V7.0.6 or later of LE7). (* For both Windows and Mac versions) In other versions, the "Open VOCALOID4 Editor" command does not appear. Even if it does appear, the VOCALOID Editor is not supported. (3) In Cubase, under "Devices" menu, select "Plug-in Information", and then in the "Program Plug-ins" tab, check whether the "VOCALOID4 Editor" check box is selected. - If the check box is not selected, select it. - If you cannot find "VOCALOID4 Editor" or if you cannot select the check box, reinstall VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase. Depending on your environment, when you start Cubase after reinstalling VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase, the applicable check box might have been cleared. Therefore, we recommend that you check if the check box is selected every time you start Cubase, or that you reset the Cubase default settings file in advance. * However, note that doing this will reset all the Cubase settings. I cannot open VOCALOID Editor. When I open the "MIDI" menu, the "Open VOCALOID4 Editor" command appears but cannot be selected.
Have you selected a single part? Add a track, create parts, select the part you want to open in VOCALOID4 Editor, and then open the "MIDI" menu. VOCALOID4 Editor cannot be opened for two or more parts at the same time.

Start the VOCALOID4 Editor installer, and in the "Program Maintenance" dialog box, select "Repair". In this environment, the VOCALOID4 Inst window displays a message in red, saying "VOCALOID4 module initialization failed(Error Code:83100411) No voice libraries are not installed." Also, the "Open VOCALOID4 Editor" menu command does not appear in the "MIDI" menu.
