I receive an error dialog of "A8C9BBB3-484B-8543-B20F049E2124(-1)" (the last digit is either (-1) or (-2) and can't complete the installation.
If you receive an error message with numbers end with (-1) or (-2), the installation program fails because it can't write/read registry data, or it doesn't have the authority to modify the registry. Please try the following: *1) Set the install disk on the drive. - If automatic playback window appears, please press [X] to abort it. - If automatic execution window appears, please press [X] to abort it. *2) Click "Computer" from Start Menu. *3) Right Click on the drive the disk is being set, and click "Open" on the context menu. *4) Right Click on the setup.exe inside "Installer Folder", and then click on "Run as Admininstrator". - After that, please follow the normal installation step.

I receive an error dialog of "7CF7EBEC-B35D-4907-9940-38DE4082D211(0)" (the last digit is (0)) and fail an installation.
The following causes are possible. 1) Yamaha has confirmed that VOCALOID products cannot be installed if Kensington mouse drivers are installed. -> Uninstall the Kensington mouse driver, install the VOCALOID product, and then reinstall the mouse driver. 2) If the system's temporary folder is set to a location other than a local drive, such as a RAM disk, the installer might not run correctly because the installer tool requires that the temporary folder be set to a local drive. -> Set the temporary folder to a local drive (such as the C drive). 3) If you do not have the required authorities to run the installer, in some environments the installer might not run correctly. -> If this occurs, use administrator authority to run the installer, and then proceed with setup normally. Note that even though error codes will vary depending on the product being installed, error codes that end with (0) are the same as above. Also, if the problem is not resolved after attempting solutions 1) through 3) above, try using the "Troubleshooting Tool for Installing/Uninstalling Programs" at the following URL: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2438651/ja

I receive an error dialog of "7CF7EBEC-B35D-4907-9940-38DE4082D211(-5)" (the last digit is (-5)) and fail an installation.
It may be an error caused from the shortage of hard disk drive space. Please check the drive which is appointed "Temporary System Folder" to see if there is an enough space, and please ensure appropriate spaces if you see the shortage. By the default, the path to the folder is "c:\WINDOWS\Temp". Please also refer to the path below to find your temporary folder. C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Temp Please note that you have to be specially cautious when you are using RAM drive as Temporary System Folder. If this is the case, you can just change the path of the folder before installing the product (You can write back the path after the installation is completed). You receive different error number per product, but if you find "(-5)" on the last digit of the dialog, you may try same procedure described above.

During the installation process, I can't proceed further even if I choose "I authorize to change the computer settings" in UAC dialog.
You have to do the installation and activation process with the admininstrator account of the computer you are using. So, please try proceeding after cutting UAC off.

I can't launch VOCALOID3 Editor with ethernet cable unplugged, receiving a message "can't find authentication device".
Some Computer has the automatic function that disables network device when ethernet cable is unplugged from the machine. If you appoint network device as the activation device of VOCALOID3 products, it may cause a failure of the activation key check because the key device is disabled by that function and hence the application can't find the device. To avoid the problem please try reactivating the application using your hard disk drive as the activation device. If your activation reaches the maximum number, please contact our VOCALOID3 customer support center with the product title and its serial number. For Voice Bank manufactured by other licensee, please contact appropriate manufacturer regarding the problem.
