Can I import VSQ file which is created in VOCALOID2?
You can import specific track in VSQ which is created in VOCALOID2 onto VOCALOID3 Editor. Choose [File] → [Import] → [Track] and click [VOCALOID3 Secuence (*.vsqx)] from the pull down menu to change it to [VOCALOID2 Sequence (*.vsq)]. After that choose VSQ file you wish to read.

I don't receive sample key sounds on VOCALOID3 even when I click on the piano roll.
Enable [Output the Sample of Synthesized Voice] in [Settings] → [Preferences] → [Others].

I can't enter any note on 18th measure (and further) on Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor.
Because Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor is simpler than regular VOCALOID3 Editor, so the maximum measure composable is limited to 17.

I can't enter any note on 33rd measure (and further) on VOCALOID3 Editor.
When VOCALOID3 Editor is launched, it automatically creates a part of 32 measures by the default, and it can be modified to any length, anytime. When you point out the right end above the track editor (which is colored in light green) with the arrow mode (right click on the track editor and choose [arrow] from the menu), the arrow cursor will turn red. Then, while the cursor is red, drag the cursor horizontally to adjust the length of the measure. If you wish to extend the measure length, drag the cursor to the right.

Menu and toolbars of VOCALOID3 Editor and Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor is written in English. How do I change it back to Japanese (and vice versa?)
It depends on the default language settings of your OS, so it may happen occasionally. If you wish to change the language of the editor, please follow these steps: choose [Settings] → [Preference] → [Other Settings] → [Language] → [Japanese (or English)], and reboot VOCALOID3 Editor or Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor.

I want to confirm the version of VOCALOID3 Editor and Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor I am currently using.
After the editor is launched, open [Help] → [About VOCALOID3 Editor] and see [System Ver] to confirm the current version. And, if there is a problem that disturbs VOCALOID3 Editor and Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor to launch, please refer to properties of following file(s). (1) For VOCALOID3 Editor: C:\Program Files\VOCALOID3\VOCALOID3.exe (2) For Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor: C:\Program Files\VOCALOID3TINY\VOCALOID3TINY.exe Right click the selected file, and choose [Property] → [Description] to see the version of the product.

I receive an error message of "Can't output Wave file (undefined external error)" when I try to play back a sound.
This error message is output from your (windows) OS. It is because the audio device driver in your machine is occupied by another program which conflicts with VOCALOID3 Editor and Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor, or there is a problem in audio device driver, causing the tool unable to call the device. Please shut down any other application and any resident program before launching VOCALOID3 Editor, or try updating the audio device driver to the latest version.

No sounds are output, while notes are input and are played back.
There are several possible reasons. Please confirm following things. (1) Please release Mute/Solo settings on the track editor. (2) If channel fader or master fader of the mixer screen is set to the bottom value, set it back to 0dB. (3) If gain of the mixer screen is set to the most left down position, please set it back to 0 position (it is the position of 12 0'clock). (4) Please release Mute/Solo settings on the mixer screen. (5) If you are trying to use "expired" Voice Bank as a singer, it won't give you any sound. Please change it to the Voice Bank which activation is valid. You can confirm which Voice Bank is activated on [Help] → [About VOCALOID3 Editor]. (6) Please check if the correct device is selected on the audio device settings on the preference menu. (7) If [Trace the Past Event] is unchecked, the sound is only output when it is played back from the beginning. Please check it.

Yes, you will ALWAYS receive the mentioned dialogue when it is launched at the first time. Please set up your audio environment accordingly to choose the audio output source.

I receive an error message of "Failed to add note! Operation was not completed because of not enough memory." and can't try anything.
Please check your system if it meets the minimum system requirement of 1GB or more of memory for VOCALOID3 Editor to be operated normally. Also, if you are opening another application, please shut them down before launching VOCALOID3 Editor.
