If you composed original songs by using Yamaha VOCALOID6 Voicebank, you can sell them without entering into licensing agreements or obtaining permission in principle, regardless of the purpose. However, there might be some restrictions depending on voicebank. Please refer to the EULA that is included with each voicebank. Additionally, please contact the company responsible for third-party products and comply with Article 4 in the EULA. In particular, please note the following items: 1) Disclosing or providing synthesized voices with lyrics that violating public order and morals. 2) Disclosing or providing synthesized voices with lyrics that violate not only singers (voice actors) in this product, but also honor, personalities, and other rights of third parties.

I bought the commercial version of VOCALOID6 after installing the VOCALOID6 trial. Do I have to uninstall the trial version before I install the commercial version?
You do not have to uninstall the VOCALOID6 trial version. It will be overwritten when you install the downloaded full version. The commercial version also comes with VOCALOID5 voicebanks for Amy, Chris, Kaori, and Ken. Please download them as needed. For the download instructions, please refer to the email you received at the time of purchase.

If you lost the serial code, you can not purchase the upgrade version. If you purchased a packaged product, the sticker with the serial code is inside the DVD case. We cannot reissue a serial code if you lost the serial code on the packaged version. If you purchased a download version, the serial code is listed in the order confirmation e-mail or notification that you received at the time of purchase.

I recovered my Windows computer from a system crash. When I attempted to authorize my license, the following error message appeared: "VOCALOID components for these serial numbers are not installed."
If you recovered the VOCALOID computer system by restoring data using a backup tool, hard disk clone, or the like, the VOCALOID authorizer will not recognize the copied data. In this case, please uninstall all VOCALOID components and re-install them. Once you have re-installed all components, please authorize them. Uninstalling VOCALOID on a Windows computer: Click [Start] > [Settings] > [Apps] > [Apps & features] and uninstall the VOCALOID software. If uninstallation fails, install the software by overwriting the existing software.
